Our mission

Orbitec develops and sells orbital welding devices worldwide. The devices need user-friendly human-machine interfaces that show all necessary assets in a structured way. Enter Schittigs:

Selection of various actions, e.g. start a new program
supervision of all relevant data, values and figures in the different sectors of the welding
Settings can easily be changed with clear and big buttons.

The result

The new HMI was developed while working closely with the client and his electronic service provider. This way, we ensured that wishes and needs of the welders can be met. The interface is operated via touch and leads its user through the multi-level process with icons and explanations. The sectors are displayed in graphics so you can see the current welding phase. All assets are permanently visible and are highlighted according to their status.
